Not sure what to say?

David came to mind just a couple days ago, still kind and vivid in my memory. A friend to man and beast alike. When I injured my foot while walking a dog before a visit, he treated us both! A good man, fondly remembered. Sam Hunneman

I was truly shocked to hear of David's passing. David took care of my animals for a number of years. He was the nicest most gentle man I have ever known. After his retirement, I would see him occasionally. He would always take the time to stop and chat with me. He would always ask me about Swans Island where I grew up. He seemed to love the thoughts of island life. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bourassa family.

Thinking warm, loving memories of Dave back in Freeport days and sending heartfelt condolences. Take care Dale and girls Paula Flaherty and Oatey cat

My thoughts and prayers to Dale and Family. I was totally shocked to read this in the paper today. David was a great guy and gave very special care to our many cats over the years. I especially enjoyed working on him on his first clinic in Freeport.

Dale, Gillian and family - what a beautifully written obituary - a lovely tribute to a kind man. My thoughts are with you.

What a wonderful man. He always called me by name when I was a new volunteer at the shelter. After I got involved more and more I would assist him in the OR. He taught me so much. We would talk about his friend with MS and share how well he thought I did with mine. When we would talk he didn't just talk about work, he was truly interested in the person. Blessings to you Dale and the girls as well as the rest of the family.

Dear Dale-Marion called me this a.m. to tell me about David I am so sorry you have had so many things to deal with-Know that my thoughts are with you and your girls-Liz Hufnagel

Deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dr. B from all the Board and Staff at Coastal Humane Society. Dr. B was a phenomenal veterinarian and friend. His job wasn't always easy, but he always wore the brightest smile and kept us laughing without fail. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and sense of FUN lit up our shelter. We were so blessed to share those many years with him at Coastal, and we know that our shelter is what it is today because of our beloved Dr. B. We know that where he is...

Dale & family, So sorry to hear of the passing of David. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
