Not sure what to say?

David, God bless and thanks to you and Dot for always being there for me.

He is never forgotten and his life lessons ring out as loud as a symphony for thousands of his kids... "Attitude is the key to success!"

Nadine, I don't know if you remember the Hovasapian Family. I am the oldest daughter Debbie. I just saw that your father has passed away and I and my family are sending our condolences.
The Pogharian/Hovasapians'

Thanks David for believing in this wide-eyed crazy Italian kid with a T-Bone and always good words of advice and support throughout my musical journey. You, Dot, the boys and Nadine always made me feel part of the Bournazian family throughout the years. God bless, David and save me a chair in that great swinging celestial big band.

Sincere condolences to Mr. B's family. He was a most amazing teacher and choral director. He opened music to my heart. His encouragement to sing beautiful, difficult selections is the reason I still try to raise my voice in harmony, listen to music with joy and live my life enriched. Class of 1965, Mohonasen HS.

George, Jake & family,

Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers for comfort and peace at the passing of your father.

I first met “B” in 1964 as a student at Mohonasen Junior HS, and he has influenced my life ever since. Music was his passion and craft, but shaping lives for the better was his real mission and is his legacy. Indeed, he knit together the hearts of the thousands who knew him.

Who can forget his motto - posted on the band room wall for decades:...

So sad to hear of Mr. B's passing. As everyone here can attest, he was such a great influence on so many people. And it was not just his students who recognized this. The parents of those students knew they had a welcome ally and friend in raising their children well – with a focus on hard work, doing your best, and maintaining a positive attitude.

For me, he was a touchstone to my happiest memories of Mohonasen HS. He was the one teacher I was sure to stop by and visit whenever...

George and Jake, I met your Dad when I was sixteen and in 10th grade at Mohonasen. It was his first year there. I played snare tenor tymp bells and the kettle drums in the concert marching and select bands and piano in the stage band.Mr B was a teacher a mentor and a friend .Back then many of us hung out at the band room during study halls and lunch.Your dad was the primary reason I stayed in school as all the music activities kept me interested. He fostered a love of music and was...

My late husband, John, and I, have aIways thought the world of "B" and the entire Bournazian family. They shared so much of themselves with so many of us, and we felt embraced like family. My sympathies are with you Jake & George. I'm certain though, that heaven is enjoying some great jammin right now! I guarantee John is up there horsing around with "B" at his side saying "Jesus man!" But this time, they really are enjoying the glory of Jesus!!
