I am sorry to have found this so late. I am sorry for his loss. He was a great teacher (Geometry ‘85). It turns out that he and my Dad (also a teacher) had been classmates in Coupeville and knew each other. I knew him as a kind, sensitive, soul with a great sense of humor. All the best to his family!!

Today we discovered that our long time neighbor and friend had passed on. Leaves kind of an empty feeling whenever we look over at his home. We always enjoyed Dave and his sense of humor. He will be missed and we know we will see him again, further on down the line of time.
Blessings to Dave and his family,
Dan and Connie Morgan

Mr. Bowers was a wonderful teacher and very helpful to my further education pursuits. If it wasn't for his kindness and guidance I may never have become a Dental Hygienist. His faith was also an encouragement to me as a student.

We have missed Dave on the golf course the last few years due to his health. He was a joy to be around and would always laugh when I referred to him as "Horse"
