A toast to you David with Bacardi and Coke Happy New Year in Heaven Anne and Terry

Hawaiian shirts, a commanding presence, and that handsome smile. I was blessed to work with David for a number of years when I served on the Chula Vista Park an d Recreation Commission in the mid 70´s. Emerson Hall, Jerry Foncerada, and David Bradstreet were a pleasure to work with. Dave and I attended a number of P and R conventions and Dave made them such fun. A consummate professional, he knew the business as well as anyone with whom I worked over the years. I last saw Dave many years ago...

Fond Memories. You were always so welcoming when we visited with you and Mary and Terry always enjoyed spending time with you and your friend Jim. May you rest in Peace. Until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Terry and Anne

I too had the pleasure of working with David at the City of Carlsbad.....you could always count on David to bring a laugh and smile to any situation.....he was a joy to be around. My sincerest condolences....

I will miss my old pal Dave. One of my first friends when I arrived in San Diego ]we met on the volley court atOakwood apts. was the most fun person I have ever known. We became instant friends. He will always be in my prayers. What a special guy. He will be missed by all who were lucky to have called him a friend. Harvey Stewart

We´re so saddened to hear of Dave´s passing. Thank you for the opportunity to read these wonderful comments and share our own reflections. I´m writing this with my 90 year old mother, Ann Kulchin, who served on the Carlsbad City Council from 1980-2012. Mom has so many wonderful memories of working with Dave. One of the first would have been in April 1980, election night. We were gathered in the council chambers and Dave was tasked with recording the official precinct counts as they came in....

Where is the celebration of life taking place on the 21st ? Many wonderful memories with Dave, Willie and Jerry at the CV gym

I am so sad to hear of my friends passing. David was one of the good guys and someone who I always looked up and respected in our Parks & Recreation profession. Always looking for a good time, we certainly found them at Parks and RecreationConferences and SCMAF events. My sincerest condolences his family. You are missed my friend

I had the pleasure of working with Dave in Carlsbad. He was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. My deepest sympathy to his loving family.
