Not sure what to say?

My hometown was Fort Worth and I met Dave at Tarrant County College. From there we both moved to Austin to attend UT. I have great memories of David who was such a pleasure to be around. Even in the final days when I visited him at the hospital he was still the same humorous and easy going guy. David was the best man at my wedding in 1981 here in Houston. He is in my wedding photos. My wife and I are still together and we both have fond memories of David. We love you and miss you very much...

My condolences to the Briseno family. I just learned of his passing. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

We met at UT and dated during our Jr. and Sr. years. He was kind and witty. He loved music and introduced me to his album collection...Steely Dan in particular and took me to a Genesis concert (wow)! I miss him.... Blessings to you all!

Good morning. I'm Lane Ingram. On behalf of the Briseno family, I'd like to thank everyone for attending today's services and for being with the family at this sad time. David Briseno was my Padrino or Godfather. He and my mother Susan were first cousins, and he and I were very close as I'm sure he was with many of you sitting here today.

The name David means the beloved and the most loving one. A name that's truly fitting for the person we celebrate today. David was born on...

To the Briseno Family, I met David my first year at TCJC. I needed an escort for a Wedding, Dave came to my rescue no questions asked, I didn't even have to twist his arm. That's the kind of guy he was. We became friends from the first time we met. Concerts, Movies, Food, Fun and laughter are the memories I have with David. He took me and my Sisters to our first midnight concert back in the 70's I have never forgotten that night. We always laugh about how much fun we had every time we think...

God's blessings today and always to the Briseno family.

David was one of the funniest guys I've ever known. We will all miss his humor and wit. My father, Daniel Alcala, has always loved to tell stories about David and their football days at J.P. Elder and Trimble Tech and how David was the closest thing he had to a brother. He will be sorely missed at all of our family gatherings. We Love you David

David was one of the finest and most enjoyable men we knew. Jim cherished his friendship.

David was my cousin but more like my little brother. Our childhood was so entertwined because our mothers were sisters; most of my childhood memories include David. He was one of the most intelligent, sensitive and creative people I have ever known. David's generosity, humor and quick wit will be greatly missed. We love you David.
