David W. Broadus On Tuesday, February 14, 2012, David W. Broadus, 56, of Woodbridge, Virginia, lost his battle to cancer with his family and friends by his side.

David served over 21 years in the U.S. Army and retired as a Master Sargent. Following his military service he worked for Dr. Harvey Swann for 14 years, before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his father James Broadus; his father-in-law Thomas Combs; and his mother-in-law Mardel Combs. He is survived by Roxy Broadus, his wife; Wendy and Jamie Wilkins, his daughter and son-in-law; Melissa Broadus, his daughter; and his three grandchildren, Noah, Dakota, and Kaylee Wilkins. He is also survived by his mother Marguerite Broadus and his three sisters, MaryAnn Turner, Susan Broadus, and Anita Steely. A memorial service will be held at Friday, February 17, at 6:00pm at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd. Woodbridge, VA 22192
