Read MoreI have wonderful memories of this man at Washington Junior High in the late 1950s. During recess and lunch, he made sure this girls got her share of passes in flag football and basketball with the boys. I really felt cared for. My condolences.

I had him in Social Studies for 7/8/9th during the 71-74 school years. I enjoyed his classes and his stories about the Korean War. He also influenced me in becoming a Naval Officer as well.
