Not sure what to say?

Bru

November 25 1988

It was a Friday and it was Iron Bowl. Although I knew who Bru was this was the first day that we officially met. I was sitting in the middle of the bar at Paddy otooles. I had yet to earn membership in the corner club. Some big old boy asked me who I was cheering for. I said that I didn't have a dog in the fight. He said boy you in Alabama you got to be on one side or the other. I replied that in that case since I was from Louisiana and LSU had beat...

I want to send my sincerest condolences to the Bru family, in particular Brother Steve. David always had time to talk (and to truly listen) and enjoy life. He always had a smile and ready to have a good time.

For some unknown reason I had this uncontrollable need to look up David on the web this morning and found this.
Again my deepest sympathy for David's entire family and loved ones

Rest in peace David. Our prayers to your family. You will not be forgotten.

One of my closest fraternity brothers and member of the fab five River Road traveling crew. I will miss you and your unique sense of humor David. Rest in peace.

Prayers and sympathy to the family of David from the Sisters at Convent of Mercy. Sr. Mary Robert Ching, RSM

To the Bru's and Kingman's, You and your family are in my prayers at this time of loss.

My sweet Bru! I was just talking about you not two weeks ago about all the fun times we had on canoe trips, mardi gras balls, and crazy times at Cabana. You were one of my best buds, and I thank you for providing so many good memories. You will never be forgotten! May your sweet soul rest in peace now.

To the Bru family, may you know that your sadness is shared with many!

Goodbye my BruBru! I know Vic, JO, BillyBob, John Layne, Big Mark and Scott had a drink waiting on you when you joined them at the bar that never runs dry. Watch over all of us that are left down here and help our LSU Tigers this year. Even though you are gone, nothing can erase the memories of our 35 year friendship.

May God be with your family and friends. You will be missed and we will always have the great memories.
