Deeply sorry to see this news. Some friends and I saw him in Moorhead, MN, years ago and never forgot him. He especially cracked us up with his routine about the guy who always bid $900 on the Price is Right. We never forgot it and still use the comment as an inside joke. Sincere sympathies to the family.

Although I never met David, I'm sorry Ken to hear about it. God Bless you and your family.

Fond memories. My condolences.

The first time I met Dave was in the family ice cream parlor, he must have been 11or 12. He served up my cone, handed it to me, looked me in the eye, and straight-faced crushed the cone in his hand. Took me a second to realize this kid was extremely funny, and I laughed joyously with him. I still laugh about that. May he be in peace, may his family be in peace. Joni (Guinn) Suther

I miss Dave. Didn't matter whether things were going great, he was always a kind man, a friend who made the best of things. And yes, very, very funny!

I am so sad. I remember his humor with traveling with family, and Dad reaching in back and trying to swipe the kids who were misbehaving. We could all relate to that.

David was such a sweet person. I am grateful to have known him, Dale and their mom.

I went to Bill Reed with Dave, always laughing and making goofy jokes, keeping all of us on our toes with his antics. He was a light to some cloudy days during those years...thank you for sharing such a wonderful, kind and silly person with me....
