Not a Thursday goes by at Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity that I dont have fond memories of Dave.

What can one say about Dave. I can say he was responsible for me working at MDOT. I worked with him for many years and when he retired he left a void. Dave had many sides to him that always kept things interesting, always the first one to pick up the hammer and get to work. I have seen a multi-day job turn into a one day job. When the work was over it was time to fish. God bless the Bunting family.

I worked with Dave for many years in the limo unit at MDOT. He was passionate about his job and it showed in his work ethic. He was a kind and generous man. I missed his dry sense of humor after he retired. He left when all of the other good ones retired and it left a void. My prayers to his family at this most difficult time.

any person that takes the time to work with " Habitat for Humanity " gets into heaven . No questions asked .
