I have known David "Doc" Burkley for the last 7 years and truly he was the most gracious, knowledgeable, honest, and loving person I have ever met. He loved life and did everything he could to make others feel the same way. Doc lead a committee from the Knights of Columbus in a Pro-Life drive that led to the purchase of 3 Sonogram units to support the movement. I am proud to have to have known him and blessed by his presence. He truly was one of kind and he made those around him a little...

I have only known David less than one year through his wife Carol. What a kind man he was to me. Always welcomed me. He was so appreciative of me helping Carol and himself when needed. My condolences to your family. Rest in Peace Sir!

Darrel and I met David and Carol when they decided to join the Sin City Dulcimer Club. We share many, many fun times together and will truly miss him.
