BURNETTE, DAVID LOREN --left us unexpectedly to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 6, 2005 at U. T. Medical Center.

He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Jane, and their children, David and wife Angie, Dean, Megan and husband Shane Mynatt, and the delights of his life, his grandchildren, Hunter Burnette and Savannah Mynatt. He was devoted to the loving care of his precious mother, Mary Burnette, who survives him. He is also survived by his brothers, Ronald, Michael, and Phillip, and his life-long friend and fishing buddy, Jon Bell.

There will be a family and friends gathering at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, at White Stone Church (formerly Cornerstone Fellowship followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.

The Burnette family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the David Burnette Memorial Fund, c/o White Stone Church, 6702 Central Avenue Pike, Knoxville, TN 37912.

I knew him briefly while he attended CHBC but I respected him as an honest and sincere man always with a friendly smile on his face. He always treated me well and was a true gentleman.
