David R. Burr

I fondly remember Dave Burr as a larger than life motor patrolman, Scoutmaster and father with a sense of adventure and wry humor that rarely failed him. I appreciate the hospitality shown me by the Burr family many years ago, and will never forget our trips to Boonsboro, Banneker, and other exotic places.
I extend my sincere condolences to the family on the loss of the patriarch.

As I look around at my Christmas decorations I see so many wooden creations made by Mr.Burr. I remember telling him how much I admired the one's he made for Dawn and sure enough the next time I visited Dawn he had left a collection of handmade decorations that I will treasure forever! We never know what impact we will have - we should just keep doing the right thing and loving each other!
