David Burris

Dave will be missed by many people, he had stayed at my home a couple times when we had class a reunion. We use to walk home together from basket ball practice along with other teamates and as we would get to each house they would drop off and we would heep going. Dave and I were the last ones left and he wanted to learn to whistle real loud, so I would tell him how and he would work on it every night. It took a little while but he finally learned how, he was happy when he finally got it....

I was a friend of Dave's in high school in Vinton. He was around our house a lot because he was one of my brother Don's best friends. We were in choir together, and I'll never forget what a wonderful job he did singing the solo in "O Happy Day". He was full of life and good humor, and brightened each day with his presence. I am so sorry for your loss.
