Sarah & Family, Denise and I are so sorry for your loss of David. I just remember David from LJCD in the class ahead of me. He was a true leader on campus and I'm glad I got to tell him that at his 30 year class reunion in 1997. I was looking for him at our 40th class reunion in May of this year to tell him again how much I looked up to him. May the Lord be with you and Bless you all.

Dear Sarah: We just learned of David's passing. We are so sincerely sorry for you, Michael and Jorie. Although we haven't seen much of you the past several years, we do have some great memories from NCL and Fairbanks Ranch golf tourneys. We will always remember how rock solid you and David were in assisting with RK Smith's service and wake. Wishing you and family strength and courage during this very difficult time. We wanted you to know that we care. Michael & Lynn Harland

Michael and family, may memories and love of your father continue to cradle your heart. I wish for all of you the peace, warmth and strength of Heaven's embrace...love and prayers always.

Dear Sarah, Michael, and Jorie...
We were very sad to hear of David's Passing. We remember him fondly as a vibrant and fun-loving person who was a wonderful husband and father. Our days with the Burton family in La Jolla will always be special memories for us. Please know we are thinking of you during this sad time.

With love,
Gail, Dale, Robby, and Wade/Duke Whittenberger

Dear Sarah and family,

I have not seen you and David since HS, yet I remember you well. My heart is saddened today to hear of your loss. I hold you in love and light, and pray for strength and comfort for you and your children during this difficult time.

Your sweet, kind David was a friend from our good 'ol days at LJCDS & LJBTC. Your loss, I can not imagine, Sarah. It is a remarkably powerful lesson to us all to live well, love dearly, and be ever so grateful. Peace dear to you and your family. Love, Billy Booth

Sarah, I'm in shock to hear of David's passing and at such a young age. You enjoyed 35 years together, may the fond memories carry you through these tough times. Fondly, Sally Bremer Huzyak (LJCD class '68)
