I am very sad to hear of David Campbell´s passing. Although it´s been many years since I last saw David, we grew up together on the same block in Wichita and were great friends during our Jr. High and Highschool years. David and I shared many great times together during those years, hanging out, playing pool, listing to music, and playing ping-pong (although we could never beat his dad Walt at ping-pong). David was a great friend, easy going, conscientious, caring, and lots of fun. Although...

I will always remember Dave as a solid and steady cousin and great role model being as he was almost a generation older and wiser. It was obvious he loved his wife and children and grandchildren. He was a great listener, gave great advice, always made me feel like he cared by putting in great effort and "showing up " and being involved in all the important moments of life.

David Campbell was easily one of the best men/friends I've ever known of in my lifetime, he was born just twelve days before me and we met in kindergarten at Kelly Elementary school, both of us starting school at 4 years old behind the others and continued to be friends our entire lives. Dave was always the grown up in the bunch with the right perspective on most everything. I think Dave & Diane were entertained watching our group antics growing as young adults, I'm really gonna miss my...
