Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Mrs. Cannon - I still feel like one of your kids after all these years and was so sorry to hear about Mr. Cannon's passing. My deepest sympathies go out to you and the rest of your family.

Cannon's - Mr. Cannon was the perfect gentlemen and always a smile. I could not drop by the Cannon's without Dave making me feel he'd been waiting for me - he seemed to make everyone feel this way. Dave's family is his legacy and I feel honored to have been considered a friend.

I knew Dave for many years from my early days with Marriott. First met him in 1973 when he was the regional for Bill Tiefel. What a great guy! We knew each other throughout the years and I will always remember him with great thoughts, particulalry his infectious laugh. My heartfelt wishes go out to you Carol. Last time I saw Dave was at my Marriott retirement dinner at the Ritz-Carlton in DC in 2002. I was so glad that Dave came. He will be missed.

Carol,
From my first day of work in 1970, at the Newton Marriott I valued my association with Dave. He was always a true gentleman, a trusted counsellor and a superb role model with a marvelous sense of humor. He remained someone to be counted upon throughout my entire career at Marriott. There is no question that those fortunate enough to be affiliated with him were better managers as a result of that association. To you and your family I hope that the support and love that you...

I pray God will comfort you and your family. You are all so special

Carol, my deepest sympathies go to you and the children. It has been years now, but I remember Dave fondly from many Marriott functions we attended. Jim always thought the world of Dave and tremendously enjoyed their times working together. I lost Jim to cancer , too, when he was 66 back in 2007, so I understand how you feel right now. Just hang in there and appreciate every day you were able to spend with Dave.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dave for many years at Marriott. In addition to the fond memories he left me with, he introduced me to Nanu's Special Spice Cookies which have become a Christmas staple in our home. My deepest sympathy to Dave's family.

Dave was a great mentor and a trusted friend. My deepest sympathy goes to Carol and the family.
