Judy and Dave's family, all prayers are with you. He'll be content and happy in Heaven; as he was with your love on earth. Dave, such a good guy----you're missed already and forever. John Shannon

My special poem in memory of Dave

One day you'll climb
... to Heavens door
A place your soul
... has been before
Your life on Earth
... a lesson learned
One day your soul
... shall be returned
Come rest with me
... my weary child
I'll comfort you
... for just awhile
You've passed the test
... but still there's more
Each time you'll pass
... through Heavens door
One day you'll stay
... and not...

I need to also send my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Allysa and Ryan. So many will miss your Dad. You both were the most important people in his life. His love and admiration for you both was so obvious every time I saw you all together. You were all he could talk about. My love to you both. God Bless.

Carey Family, Judy, Allysa, Ryan and all who knew and loved Dave,

It was with great sympathy in learning of Dave's passing. Dave was my brother in law (through marriage), and I loved this guy! His life revolved around his children Allysa and Ryan and never missed their sporting events. Total dedication to his kids which is what I loved most about him. And his cookouts were the best! Dave's smile was infectious and his laughter unforgettable. I will truly miss you my good friend. ...

MY deepest sympathy to Judy, Ryan and Alyssa. I had not seen Dave in many years but in our youth, we spent countless hours playing hoops at Beman.
RIP my good friend.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my high school buddy. Dave was a great person, gifted athlete and caring human being. I remember many fun times hanging out in the old Beman Park neighborhood.
I saw Dave at our 45 th reunion and he looked dapper as ever.

May God bless Dave and his family.
