Read MoreWhen I was a music major at Whitman I well remember David recording many of my student recitals & then going to his home afterwards to check it all out. Perhaps he even recoded some of our opera performances as well but I’m not certain. Sorry to hear of his passing. He was a kind generous fellow. I was thinking of him awhile back & learned just the other day that he had died.

David was truly a gentleman whose life will leave Walla Walla a far better community and me a far better person. I learned a lot from observing Davids style of integrity, honesty and more than anything else his way of treating everyone with respect. Rest In Peace David and Maralyn. You were MY teacher.
