Dear Mrs. Carnahan and Family,
I'd like to express my deepest condolences to you all. I've not seen David since we graduated in 1974; however people leave impression in our lives as we go our separate ways...your David did just that with many. As hard as it is to say goodbye to him physically he will always be with you in many ways. Take care of each other and always always remember your David loves you. God Bless you now at this extrememly difficult time and always.
Sincerely;

Diana and family,
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Dave brought to much to so many people, I loved watching him on the football field at practice. All those little guys looking up to him - priceless. He taught them a lot more than football. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Diana & boys,
You have our deepist sympathies. Dave was so much fun with Midgets & with him coaching third base when Scott coached our boys in house baseball. I will always remember how patient he really was with the boys even though he seems tough. Rest in peace Dave... The Herspergers

Diana, and family... Dave was a great guy and a good Elk.I will miss his great sense of humor and wonderful smile. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Diana, Ryan, Scott and Kevin,

Diana and family,
Dave was one of a kind... as a man, a coach, and a survivor. He taught so many what it was to persevere. He never gave up on a team, in a game, or in life! He loved his family, his kids, and had such a passion for teaching kids the game of football (ie life). And he was so good at it. We were robbed of the passion of such a good man. But remember, only the good die young. Rest in Peach Dave. You will never be forgotten!
