Not sure what to say?

I think about David often, and how incredibly smart he was. And how hard he made me work ... here is a memo he wanted me to type from what he wrote. He made my job more challenging and interesting for almost 30 years!! He is greatly missed.

It is a pleasure to reflect back on the time I worked with David. His commitment to Iyengar yoga was so strong and his gifts to the community so significant. Thank you David!

David was a beloved Iyengar Association colleague. His integrity and good humor touched the hearts of so many of us. At the recent May 2023 Sankalpa Convention we had to honor is legacy as a community.

David is so warmly remembered for his wholeness and wisdom. Sending love to all he loved and all who loved him.

Single Memorial Tree

My condolences to the family of David Carpenter. I worked with David at Sidley when I was the Word Processing Manager. He was a very dedicated lawyer and colleague. May he Rest in Peace.

My deepest sympathies to the Carpenter family. I am part of the Sidley family and though I never had a chance to work with David he always greeted me a smile and a hello. He was definitely a gentle giant.
