Not sure what to say?

I came across your work for a project I am doing. Very great for the advances of science!

David Carr was my anatomy prof in 1974. He was a pioneer in problem based medical education, and an inspiring teacher, and later, a great colleague. He has left an indelible legacy.

Our thoughts are with you from over the pond in England

David was a wonderful man who was responsible for my coming to Canada. When I was in the University of Sheffield (UK) David suggested I come to teach in Canada. Not only that but he and Jean hosted me for my first two weeks in Canada. I will be forever grateful. David was always an interesting and hospitable friend to me and my family. His accomplishments are a fine legacy but it is the memory of a wonderful man that will be forever with me. His warm humanity is a gift he shared with Angela...

Angela as we said you lost your dad and best friend. Loved his humor and love of life. Always enjoyed visits to and from your Dad ,Mom (Jean) and you threw the years. He will be missed but remembered by many.

I was Dr. Carr"s first Graduate Student when he was in the Department of Anatomy at the University of Western Ontario, London. He was my mentor and teacher. But most importantly he was the kindest gentlest person that I ever knew and made a lasting impression on my life.

Dear Angela
May the love of your many friends be with you through this very sad time.
Your Dad was such an incredibly accomplished and gifted doctor and professor, but I shall always remember him for his great humanity- for his exceptionally kind, gentle, caring, humble and respectful way in which he treated everyone in his path- and always with that mischievous sense of humour. He really was one of a kind!!!!
