Not sure what to say?

Bernice and family: Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. David was so many things--knowledgeable about so much and so helpful to others trying to learn. Watching The Ohio State Buckeye games won't be the same without David's harassing phone calls and texts. We'll never forget him.

"Rest in peace" David.

Bernice, we are adding our tender hugs and support to you and the girls. David was such a lovely person and you were a perfect team. All of his special qualities will continue to bless your lives-just expressed through new channels. You are a rock. Gail and Alex Smith.

My condolences and love to the family of David Steven Carte. To be a master of your craft you must be determined to be successful at executing technique and have the integrity to accept nothing less than perfection. That was David. The Luttrell Family

I knew David since he came to Woodstock, he has always been a good friend and one of the best people I know. We had a lot of fun working on our MOPARs, racing slot cars, going to car shows and running around. I always enjoyed visiting his shop and seeing the amazing cars and work and how happy a place it was and going out to lunch. He will be missed but when we see a nice old Ferrari or MOPAR we will be reminded of David.

We are so sorry to hear of David's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

He was an incredible friend, mentor and helper over the past 43 years. We will always owe him our gratitude for the superb work he did on our car. We shall truly miss him. Our hearts and love go out to Bernice, Crissey and Eli.

Dear Bernice and family, David was a wonderful person and friend. I will never forget all of us growing up in the neighborhood and all the fun we had as kids. My heart aches for all his family and I pray with all my heart that God's beautiful grace will sustain all of you through this heartbreaking time. My prayers, love and fond thoughts are with each one of you.
