Rest in peace, Spooner, and my condolences to your family. We never spoke that I can recall, but I remember seeing you many times at the summer festivals over the years taking in the scene. Your outfits always made me smile. See you on the other side. Ann Arbor won't be the same without you.

I met Dave at Soybean Cellars a vegetarian restaurant where we worked in the kitchen together. He was the bread maker as I remember. He showed up one day in a full crochet outfit that was so colorful it brought the entire kitchen to a standstill. Those were magical times in Ann Arbor and he was a big part of it. I'm sorry for your loss. Wish I had bought a hat from him when I had the chance.

I met David in the 70s. Funniest cranky curmudgeon ever. Shared many jokes and smokes. I'll really miss him.
