David A. Catallo

Dear Loretta, Lori, and Larry Catallo and families, I am truly saddened to learn of Davey's passing. He was always a friend and good man to know. Both he and his brother helped save my life one night when my sports car flipped over opposite his home on Fonda Road. Nothing but fond memories of Dave when he was the Waterford Post Master, and when he and I were members of the Knights of Columbus in Waterford. He and Loretta were so proud and happy with their children when I would see them in...

To the Family; Mr. Catallo was the Great example of a Gentleman, a true American. I will never forget how kind, giving and wonderful he was to me and my family. Truly a man that loved his family, and his time here on earth. What a Great Man, that fought to the very end. May he now Rest in Peace.

Mrs. Catallo, Lori, Larry and family...Mr. C. was one of the nicest men I've ever known. For the 50 years I knew him, I never saw him not smiling or laughing. Whether it was walking his invisible dog in the neighborhood or putting up with us playing on the player-piano whenever we felt like it...leaving banana peels on the toilet seat...it was all good! What a great man, neighbor, patriot. RIP. We love you.
