DAVID SHERMAN CERCONE, age 44, died on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He was born on December 23, 1964, in Royal Oak. He was a resident of Chelsea, Michigan, and was a former resident of Bloomfield Hills. Education: David attended St. Louis Center, in Chelsea, Michigan David was an avid sports enthusiast, and he was fascinated with firemen and fire departments, and loved sports cars. Another avocation was to plan parties; and his family and friends will remember him as a telephone junkie. David cherished his family - the center of his life. His fondest memory was a family trip to Italy. He also loved spending time at Higgins Lake and being on the water. David really liked to dress up in a sport coat and tie, and he loved costumes as well. Parents: Annette "Punch" Jeoney (Alex), and the late Leonardo P. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, MI 48084 (between Maple and Big Beaver Roads), with an evening Scripture Service with Personal Reflections at 7 PM Funeral Mass: Wednesday, September 16, 2009 - 10:00 AM at Holy Name Church, 630 Harmon at Woodland, Birmingham, Michigan, with Rev. Msgr. John Zenz officiating.
