Not sure what to say?

Dear Uncle Dave,
We will miss you greatly and will often think of the fun talks about golf and German wines we've had with you fondly. We are so glad we have one of your custom made clubs and we will think of you every time we go golfing!
Love,

Grampa, I miss you and I love you and I always want to see you in heaven and you were my best friend and I miss you a lot. Love, Emily

It has been two and one-half weeks since that terrible day. We see you daily in our lives, dad - rainbows over the neighborhood, a four-leaf clover and other little signs that you are looking over us. We miss you terribly. Much love, Laurie,Rachel and Emily

Dear Uncle Dave, We never had a chance to say goodbye but your memory will live on in our hearts forever. Play a round with Grandpa but let him keep score...play away...
Love, Bret and Debbie

Dave was a wonderful man who will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Pat and your Family at this difficult time.

Dave, I'll always remember how welcome you and Pat made me feel in your home, and I regret that so many years have passed since we last met. You were one of the kindest, smartest, and quietly funniest people I've ever known, and I know you loved your family with your whole heart. My love and sympathy go to Pat, Janet, Laurie, Dan, Rachel and Emily. You will be sorely missed by them and by the rest of us who cared for you.

Dear Grandpa,
I miss you so much,i want to see you, everyone misses you, i love you so much, i hope you are having a good time in heaven, you were a great friend/Grandpa, you could be a mans best pal, there is more than a billion ways i like about you, here are four: you make the best rice krispie treats, you make everyone smile, you are nice and you are my super duper best pal, i hope i can see you soon in heaven.
p.s. say hi to buddy for me.

I am still in shock at the news of Dave's untimely passing. We have known each other since grammer school at Ash Street and at First Congregational Church in Manchester. Although we have not seen each other in many years, and I have not met Patti, Dave and I have been in e-mail contact over the past few years. I was eagerly looking forward to seeing him again and meeting Patti at our upcoming 55th high school reunion this October. Also, Dave had talked about visiting the Williamsburg, VA...

Dad, you were the best. You were loving, happy, generous, patient, considerate, smart, fun, and funny. You were everything that most people only wish they could be. Thank you for always being there for me and for making me the person I am today. Thank you for all of the great memories. I'll never forget swimming with you in the big inner tube at Brown's Island, watching you make "widdle" blueberry pancakes, and learning how to draw a house on the big chalkboard. I’ll never forget how you...
