David Willis Cole

Dr. Cole was an excellent teacher and an inspiration to me.

Dave was always responsive to the needs of others, particularly students. He had an inclusive world view that made many gravitate to him for personal and professional support. He represented the best of Ohio State University and Fisher College. We cherished our friendship.

Sad to hear of David´s passing. I graduated from his Academy for Financial Executives in the late 70´s which served me well during my 45 years in banking.

I am so sorry to hear of Professor Cole’s passing. He was the light of PCBS and we heard of him well before we reached the campus at the University of Washington for the first year of classes. He was tough and unyielding, yet witty and kind. I learnt the most in his class. He will be impossible to replace. May his soul rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the family. Professor Cole was a beloved instructor at the Pacific Coast Banking School. I count myself to be lucky to be in one of his very last classes. He was a man of immense capacity, integrity and love for teaching. May he Rest In Peace.

He made “finance” come alive even when dealing with experienced banker students. As a student you wanted to learn and he certainly enhanced the process.

His family and friends are on my thoughts and prayers.
