Funeral service for Mr. David Coley who pass away on Saturday May 9, 2015 will be held on Saturday May 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Luke A.M.E. Church, 2709 N. 25th Street, Tampa, Florida Rev. Ronald E. Williams, Sr. Pastor, Officiating and Rev. Eddie Nunn, Eulogist.  


David was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Mae Coley; father, Milton Coley, Sr.; brothers, Milton Coley, Jr. and Steve L. Coley; sisters, Janice Renee Coley-Davis; uncle, Lynwood “Pete” Bell; granddaughter, Leionna Alexander Black.

Mr. Coley leaves to cherish precious memories with his daughters, Latoya Carswell and husband, Michael and Latasha Coley; grandkids, Michael Carswell, Jr., Destiny Barr, MarQuez Carswell and Serenity Singletary; like a mother, Eloise Tarver; sister, Betty Jean Brito and husband, James; brother, Cecil Coley; uncles, Willie Frank Coley, Bobby “Jack” Coley and Moses Coley and wife, Lucy; aunts, Christine Lucas, Mattie Jackson and Anna Coley and husband, Delatorro; nieces and nephews, Crystal White, Edward Bailey III and wife, Dena, Nikki Coley, Solomon E. Davis and wife, Shannon, Corey A. Coley, Sr. and wife, Ica, Steve L. Coley, Jr. and wife Marina, Yashica Coley, Keiara Coley, Cleo Coley, Jeremy Raiford, Dioné Brown; sister-in-law, Catherine Coley; a host of sorrowing relatives and friends including, but not limited to, Lillie B. Russ, Denise Russ, Twanda Russ, Wanda Russ, Ellis (Bubbá) Russ, Fred Russ, Michael Russ and wife, Sopheia, Leon Russ, Zandra Russ, Rose Lockly, Anthony Tarver,
Reba Tarver and Michael White.


A native of Tampa, Florida Mr. Coley was born on September 21, 1957. He was educated in public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Hillsborough High School.

There will be a viewing on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with the family receiving friends in the chapel from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
