I first met David after he'd married his second wife, Vreni Bithell Collier. Even though I am the mother of his step-son's wife, he welcomed me to their beautiful home in Earlysville with open arms. He was the sweetest, most gentle Uncle a girl could ask for. I didn´t get to see him often but I loved him dearly. My mom adores him beyond words. He was her childhood best friend. I miss him but know he is reunited with his loved ones who have gone before and it is a thing of beauty.
