My husband and I got to know David at OCE. Richard taught Theater and directed several plays featuring David. He became a family friend and altho we did not see him often, he was loved and respected by us and our children. Wendy and Michael played David and Marilee in their backyard theater. David was a person to cherish. I know he remains in many hearts. Love you David

I just learned today of David's passing. As David's counterpart at Roosevelt, I thought of him as the counselor with the skills and tenderness that I aspired to. It was amazing, the way female students who were abuse victims unburdened themselves to David and allowed him to help them. He was a man they could trust. I am so sorry for loved ones who lost him.

David had an ear to always listen and a mind full of wisdom.
We drifted apart when the girls left school but reconnected to my great joy 3 years ago. His smile - ever captivating, his style - fun and brilliant, and his heart - always...

It always made my heart glad to know David was there when I needed a boost. He was my best man at my wedding. A true friend throughout all these years. He will always be in my heart. I will always remember our last meeting at Christmas 2018. He hugged me, my wife and my son, who is named David. We all love him.
