I met Dave playing basketball after work at St. Thomas where he used his humor to provide accurate basketball player names to the many regular players and his talent to usually enable his team to win. Entertaining, independent, highly competitive and able to accomplish nearly any goal he set his sites upon I will miss my very talented and unique friend but feel lucky to have known Dave. Dave and I worked together on his prison healthcare contract from 2016 - 2020 but I also considered him my friend. I have the utmost respect for Dave and will miss him immensely. My prayers are with the Comey family for peace and comfort during their difficult time. I believe that Dave is no longer in pain but standing in glory looking down on us all.
