I was sorry to hear of his passing. My memories of him are smiling eyes, gentle kindness, and a wee bit of orneriness. My sincere condolences on your loss.

David was a wonderful friend and colleague. He was kind and compassionate and a terrific surgeon. But I am sure he would have agreed that it is his beautiful family that was his greatest accomplishment. My love and prayers for Cooky and the whole extended family.

Great surgeon who was fun to work with during my time in the OR at St. Mgt. I was able to visit him in Stone Harbor in 1992 where we had fun spraying the seagulls with super soakers. Rest In Peace Doc. Sympathy to his family.

Dave was one of my earliest mentors. Jennifer and I offer deepest sympathy to the extended Connolly family, who provided the bedrock on which to build an illustrious career, happiness at home.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

His pledge to his outstanding vocation saved innumerable lives, particularly mine 40 years ago. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, in the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
