Not sure what to say?

Dearest Dave, Another year has passed by, but you will always remain in our hearts. We will especially miss you at our 60th class reunion this fall. We know that you will be with us in spirit.

Dave was a great person. He was kind to everyone. He was a great athlete, but never boasted about it. We think of you often, Dave, and hope you have reunited with some of the classmates we recently lost. Nancy delaCruz - NLHS Class of 1965

I wanted to say how every time I saw Dave he would always tell me how much he loved his son. And I will miss having milkshakes Dave. I'll keep him in my thoughts forever.

I always loved Dave. He was always kind to me, and always full of advice. I will always remember him.

Doesn't seem like 4 years since you left us. We speak highly of you all the time. Wish you were here. Your friends and classmates of New London High School class of 1965. RIP

Remember Dave as a person who was serious and kept to himself when playing basketball and football and more receptive to talk but quiet when away from sports.

Dave, it has been three years and we still think of you often. Rest in peace.

Dave was a great guy. While I was a year or two ahead of him in high school, I followed his exploits in the media.

Many years (like 40) later, I was visiting my elderly Mom at the Mohegan and ran into Dave. He was very kind. When I reminded him that I had seen him play as a national star, he shrugged it off and said something like, Say hello to your Mom."

I think he was one of the greatest to ever come out of New London, but in that brief interchange, he was about saying hello...

He was a true brother and friend for all the years at Wake Forest together. He always called me Greek and he gave me rides to Wake from MA. I saw him in the early 90's and we enjoyed the reminisce about the days we spent in college. Great athlete and true smart person. I was shocked to hear about his passing.
