I remember meeting Uncle Al at another funeral, the passing of his sister, my Aunt Peggy, and thinking he was a boisterous personality...He immediately embraced me, his goddaughter and welcomed me then. I hadn't really any other recollection of him other than at my sister Ruthann's funeral...seems so very sad that those are the times I remember...my thoughts and prayers are with Stephen and Kathy. I don't recall ever meeting my Uncle Al before the passing of my mother and, though he did not know me, he opened his home to me and kept me for over a month until my father was released from the hospital and could come for me. I haven't forgotten his kindness and never will forget. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Kathy and Stephen and my gratitude, also, for your patience during that summer when your lives were disrupted by an unexpected guest. I'll be praying for you.
