Not sure what to say?

God bless you, Father Conway. Wish I could be in on the discussions you must be having with John in Heaven!

Fr Dave Conway will always be the light that I follow as his path is one with Jesus. I miss him so very much. He was to me the perfect priest. We had so many wonderful discussions over dinner and his beloved "Manhattans". It was my enlightenment hour just to be in his presence. I miss his wonderful jokes and his inside stories of The District. I'll never forget one Sunday at High Mass, he was proceeding up the aisle in all his priestly garments (it was my first High Mass) and the church...

There I was, a scared new altar boy in the middle of mass, holding out the empty silver hand bowl I had forgotten to fill. As he plunged his fingers into imaginary water and scratched the bottom of the empty bowl,Father Conway's eyes glanced at me and twinkled kindly. Fr David Conway was a great inspiration to us all while we were in High School. His pragmatic approach was what we needed as young men growing up in the late 1950's.

Father David baptising grandson Oliver.

High school English teacher and advisor, officiated at our wedding and the wedding of two of our children, baptised one of our children and two of our grandchildren, but most important a friend and mentor for life. Oh how we shall miss him. Keep an eye out for us Father David.

With sincere gratitude... heaven's gain
Requiescat in pace

Father Conway married Joan and I in 1978. He did a good job since we are still married. I have always considered him one of the good guys, a pastoral priest, not a business man.

Dear Family,
I know Father Conway is on to his heavenly reward,
as a good and faithful servant. He was
full of , wisdom, humour, kindness,.
also, humility and a channel of the Lords 'peace. I
used to go to St Mary s Sunday pm Mass,
I was a Nurse on night shift at Childrens' Hospital. I was blessed to have known Father and still blessed with an advocate in heaven.

Very sad to just hear of the loss of Father Conway. My heart and prayers go out to his family and other loved ones. Many blessings.
