Not sure what to say?

Dear Carol & Family: I am saddened to hear of the passing of our dear brother in Christ. Dave showed the love of Christ in his life. I loved to hear him sing and watch him direct the choir and congregation at CBC. When Dave directed the congregation in singing Blessed Assurance, I thought the roof was going to come off the Church. He always challenged the congregation to sing out in praises to our Lord & Savior. My prayers are with you and your family.

We were so glad to be able to be with you during this time of sorrow. We are praying for you daily. Because He lives, we shall live also. What a blessed Hope! Love sent your way...

To Mrs. Cook,
So sorry to hear about Mr. Cook's passing. He was a great teacher and a wonderful mentor. Fortunately, we do not grieve as though we have no hope! We will see him again! Our prayers and thoughts are with you---Jennie (Mach) Chaplik, HCS '79

Another Great man of God has gone home. To us, it may seem like it's too soon, but God knows exactly what He is doing. Bro. Cook's life reflected Christ in all he did. I count it a blessing to have known him, sit in church near him & his precious wife Carol. He's gone from us to be with Jesus, and this leaves a hole in our lives, but we are certain that we will all be re-united again. Thus, this is not "good-bye" but "see you later". My prayers are with Carol, Dave & his family, and the...

Carol and David Jr. and family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy, love and prayer at this time of loss. We have many fond memories of Dave and how kindly he treated our son Jonathan when he attended Heritage for K-8. We love you and all wait for the day of the Lord's 2nd coming.

God be near and dear to you Mrs. Cook. There are no words to express how much nor how many lives your hubby has touched, especially the youngsters he has taught in schools. They will carry their memories all their lives. The Bradley kids, Kelly, Kara, John, Kayla, Justin and Kayla's hubby Kyle. I will be praying for you, no one can ever truly replace the loss of a spouse, but you have David and grandbabies to love and between them and our Lord holding you in the palm of his hand, you can...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Dave from his teaching my son Scott, at Heritage. I always appreciated the teachers and their dedication to the students. Thank you for your service to my son.
