I am the father of Ava Frost, who was a friend of Samantha's and Olivia's for several years growing up. Dave was always great to Ava. He spoke right to her like she was a real person, even though she was a little kid. He made a point to drive his sheriff's patrol car over to our house in the summer one time and had her sit inside his patrol car and showed her all the bells and whistles on it. Ava still remember it, and she was only 4-5 years old at the time. Dave was great to hang out...
