Not sure what to say?

As we journey through life, our friends impact us different intervals. Dave and I had shared time in junior high school, senior high school and college. When his family arrived from Arlington Heights, Illinois, Dave lived two blocks away. Dave and I started playing basketball and golf. We toiled on a public course, Springdale Park. A correction I toiled, Dave, with his left handed swing was a natural. He excelled at Seaholm High School in basketball, golf, and track. In the ninth grade with...

Condolences to David's family and friends from the 1967 class of Seaholm High School, Birmingham, MI, where he lead the basketball team and enhanced our lives. Here is his senior year portrait.

Met David playing fast pitch softball. I played second and was never pleased to see the big left hander come to the plate. Fortunately found out later what a great guy he was. May his memory be eternal! John Melonas

So thankful I was able to see David this past Christmas. I saw the man I had come to admire and respect through years of working together. David was such a wonderful example of spiritual leadership and helping each of us be the best we can be.

Rest in peace David!! YITB!! What a great guy!!

Dear Alex and family - Dennis and I are so sorry for your great loss. We are thinking of you and praying for you and your family. We rejoice that David is not in pain now, but is in the very presence of Jesus - his Lord and Savior. Praise God for that blessed hope for all who know the Lord. Sadly, we will be out of town this weekend and are sorry to miss the Celebration of Life service. We´ll be there in thought and prayer. Please let us know if it´s recorded. We´d love to see the...

I remember Dave as a devoted father, husband and , of course coach. He was such a positive force in our community. I send my deepest condolences to Alexandra, Kevin, Carson and your entire family. Thinking of you.

My Dear Alexandra, Kevin & Carson, I Was Saddened To Learn Today That David Went To Live With Jesus In June. He Is "Absent From The Body, But Present With The Lord". That Is True & I Pray It Makes Your Grief More Bearable. I First Met David & Alexandra At MPC When She Joined The Choir. Oh, The Joy Of Singing To Our Lord Each Sunday, Retreats, Prayer Groups & Quiet Times Spent Together. Remember, Alexandra? Whenever I Sing Keith Green´s Easter Song At Easter, I Always Remember You, Karen...

Dave was an energetic supporter of youth sports and my son had the privilege of being on the receiving end of his unwavering commitment and enthusiasm. I also had the opportunity to coach with him and he impressed me with his fairness to all the kids.
