Just found out you have sadly passed away Dave. Absolutely shocked! You were a great pal from the first days of Woodhey High School & it was great to get back in contact around 2017. It was fantastic to see what a life you'd made for yourself in NZ. Thinking back to post covid, I remember you went out of your way to visit my fathers old house (that my Grandad built in the 1950) in Christchurch on the way home from work to take some pics for my dad. Dave and I met through a mutual friend years ago and from the very start, I could tell how kind and sincere he was. We would see each other a few times a year at social events and he always had nice things to say to me, and such a positive outlook on life. He kept saying "I´m proud of you" which always meant the world. I´ll miss you and your smile Dave, rest in peace. And condolences to your whole family here in NZ and in the UK.

David we knew you as a fun loving and mischievous boy and watched you grow into a wonderful husband and Dad. We are unbelievably sad that we will not see you again. I am very saddened to hear of Dave's sudden passing. 48 years old is far too young to say goodbye. My heart goes out to all Dave's family, on both sides of the world. I will always remember Dave's cheeky grin when I first met him back when he was 13 years old. Remember the happy times, it will keep you strong xxx
