Not sure what to say?

I met David back in the 80´s when he first moved to Portland. He was interviewing with our firm and I recognized right away this was somebody we wanted on our team. David grew up in the far northern suburbs of Milwaukee, as I did, and he, like me, attended University of Wisconsin Law School. While we didn´t know each other back then, as David was years younger than me, our parents actually had good friends in common. I enjoyed working with David, initially as he helped on my projects...

Martha, Jess, and Grace - We are so sorry about your wonderful husband, sad and human being. Rest in Peace and Blessings and Wishes to all of you. Love Bonnie and Joe Castro

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

Dear Martha, As I sit at my computer looking out the window on this beautiful day, with flowering bushes and bulbs in full spring bloom, I cannot help but think of how David would have enjoyed this sight. He devoted untold hours of work with brilliance, thoughtfulness and attention to detail, but he...

David and I met in the early 80´s in Colorado. We were both young chemists from Wisconsin working at Rexnord inc. I remember rolling my eyes when he showed up at work with his new car which was actually a very old Peugeot. We spent many hours together trying to keep it running. I recall one time when he and Martha went back to...

Single Memorial Tree

Dearest Martha, Jess and Grace, Thank you for sharing David with us! He completed many of our lives. I have had the greatest of memories, chats with him since the first time I met him on 17th of November 2015. Both of us were on the deck of a Bar in the American part of Okinawa, Japan, staring in to the calm seas, with a lit cigar in his hand and a lit cigarette in mine. When we finished chatting "Appreciating Life" after a few rounds of drinks and shots of nicotine, sun had come out....

Dear family, I wish you all the strength to overcome this loss. Stay strong together. Regards Edwin Caveau du Cairanne
