Not sure what to say?

When you come across a good person in your life, you will remember them always. Thank you for keeping us safe all these winters! My children and I will always think of you when we are at Quechee. I feel blessed to have known you. Thank you for fixing Tony especially.

I think about Dave frequently and all the wonderful times we share together on the Okemo Mountain Ski Patrol. Dave was an inspiration to everyone he touched and a true leader in life. My prayers and good wishes and good health for Claire and her family.

We had the pleasure of knowing and working with Dave for many years through out condo at Deere Run. He was such a gentleman and a very effective project manager. We miss him. Jerome and Sharon Smith, Deere Run, Quechee

I joined the Okemo Ski Patrol with a First Aid Card and a borrowed pair of skis. David saw my lack of skiing skills and took me under his wing. His friendship, love for skiing, and helping others enjoy the sport gave me and my family some of the best times of our lives. We miss him, but when we look through our photo albums and see his smiling face we have grins on our faces. The Rick Anderson family

I am so sorry to read about the death of David in the Ski Patrol magazine. I knew Dave when we was on the Okemo Ski Patrol and I patrolled with him on occasion at Quechee when I would visit for the day. Dave was a very special person and he taught me a lot about skiing. I have always considered him to be a wonderful human being that cared deeply about everyone he was associated with. My deepest condolences to is wife and his sons. Sincerely, Ed Riozzi, Okemo Ski Patrol (1970-1990)

I was so happy to reconnect with Dave at a LSRHS gathering, after so many years. I grew up with him in Lincoln. What a wonderful person he was. I send my deepest condolences to his wife Claire and the family.

I have many great memories of Quechee Ski Patrol with David. He was a special guy, engaging, funny and dedicated to his family, friends and Patrol. I enjoyed my years Patrolling at Quechee and eventually out west at Bogus Basin due to David's patience as he taught me to be a Patroller. Many hugs to his wife Claire, my roommate when I first moved to New Hampshire. David was a great friend, he will be missed but not forgotten.

Sorry to hear that Dave has passed. He was a classmate and teammate at Lincoln Sudbury. Just a good person and real solid teammate. My prayers for all his family!! Ted Barnicle Friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Courtney family for your loss. David will be missed by many.
