Thank you

Just learned of David's passing today. Always loved when I got assigned to help in the CFRB Newsroom because David's quick wit, sense of humour, and his heart of gold, always lit up my day! Reading tributes from so many fellow RBer's brought back such fond memories of the special bonds shared.
Deepest condolences to all of his loved ones. RIP David. Continue to shine ... from Heaven now. New meaning of Star of David ❤

I know I am months late in sending this note, but I just noted David's passing on FB tonight. He truly was a "Great Guy" as so many have said. I knew David for about 8 years while I was at the (then) venerable CFRB doing the Garden and Farm shows. Then after I moved to Vancouver Island I used to send him occasional email messages etc. My sympathies to his family and friends.

As with many people, I had the pleasure of working with David in broadcasting. With me, it was at CJEZ. It was my first job in radio after having him as an instructor at Ryerson. Thank you David for the guidance, and for giving us "the news".

I am so very sorry to hear of David's unexpected passing. I met David and we became good friends just over 20 years ago when he was working in Cobourg. He was a wonderful man and extremely passionate about his work. He will be remembered fondly. My deepest condolences to his family. Please contact me at [email protected] regarding a Celebration of Life.

I had many fun times with David when we would meet for munchies or shared laughs on a story. He was with RB radio and I worked at CKEY when radio was King in the city. My condolences to Davids family. He was one special character I will always remember fondly.

I have just learned of David's passing. I worked with cavid for many years at CFRB and always enjoyed his work ethic and company. He'll be missed at our annual spring reunions.
