Not sure what to say?

Maryanne and the Crane family,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember going to the stock car races with you Maryanne and your dad. We had a lot of fun and he made things more fun. You have my greatest sympathy.

A fire went out in me with the passing of Dave. Whenever I was down he had some joke or "one liner" that picked me up. My heart goes out to Cora. She is the sweetest woman on earth. She and Dave were as close as close can get. I will always cherish the parties and road trips with him. I have countless pictures and videos of my times together with Dave and Cora and they will bring back great memories in the future. With the passing of Dave its like the movie is over and all I can say is...

Dave is greatly missed ,he had a long struggle with health issues related to his race days but had no regrets. I am blessed to have met Dave and Cora ,two of the nicest people in the world. Cora you are not alone.
I love you both, and mourn his passing.

GOD how I love you n Cora, I wish I could have seen you more time. Ill miss our long long phone calls, I cherish the Crane Youseeum trophy Cora and you made for me, it goes everywhere with our car. Your good friends Steve and Cindy Gibbs made sure you were mentioned on the memorial list of heroes at the reunion and I thanked them for you. Make sure to say Hi to Ralphie Kitron for me and both of you stop laughing at me every time I mess up !!! Ill see you again soon Cora, call me again...

May God's loving-kindness bring comfort to you and your family during this very sad time.

You will be greatly missed. I was lucky enough to get a tour of his museum and listen to some great stories as we went from one racing item to the next. A true drag racing historian and a great human being. RIP

Cora. David P will be missed. All the fun and the stories we all shared at the old PO. He made the days bearable when all else failed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you

Cora, we are so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. SO MANY great stories and memories. It is a true honor to have known him. Thinking of you at this time, keeping you in our prayers.

My condolences to Daves family and friends. I met Dave through Bobby 'Poncho' Rendon. Got to visit the 'Museum' several times and had good conversations at Detroit Autorama over the years. Dave was a very nice man and I always enjoyed running into him. He is missed. R.I.P. Dave.
