Not sure what to say?

Dearest Marilyn, and family: So very sorry to learn of David's passing. He was a good man and always had something funny to say. It does not seem possible that the years from college 1964 until now were so far away. Seems like yesterday I met you, Marilyn, in Sacramento to attend City College. My your days be less difficult in time. Prayers to you, the family and to David in Heaven with Lori. Love

Sending our thoughts and prayers, to Marilyn, Brian, and all the family. He will surely be missed , by many. ❤Larry & Judy Duclos

Rip Dave

So sorry to hear about David's passing. I remember growing up in Volcano and seeing him around town sometimes. I also remember seeing him on patrol when he worked in law enforcement. My heart goes out to Marilyn and family. Also to his sister Mary. You are in my prayers.

I'm very honored and proud to have grown up with Dave. As young boys we camped, hunted and fished together.
We enrolled at Amador County High School as Freshman in 1958 and graduated 1961.
Both of us enrolled into Sacramento City College and shared an apartment together. This is where Dave received his degree in Criminal Justice. He was a peace officer for over 30 years. He was well respected by his fellow Peace Officers and the residents of Amador County.
I personally...

So sorry to hear about Daves passing. I worked with him at the Sheriffs Department and was a joy to work with. Always ready for a joke or a smile when you greeted him.

Dave,
You were an original. Truly a great guy. They dont make guys like you anymore. You are and will forever be missed. Beer will never taste the same. Amador County will never be the same.
Rest easy Dave,
Clint

As a freshman at Amador High I was very lucky and appreciative in meeting Dave and having him as a friend all through school. Whenever we would pass following school there was always smiles and how are you. My thoughts and Prayers go out to Dave's family and friends as we need more smiles not less in this world. God Bless

My condolences to family and friends of David. I was very young the few times our families got together, but I have him frozen in my memories as a very dashing 30 something. Peace and love.
