Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of working with Dave as an ESL instructor in New Haven, CT. Dave was an extraordinary human being like no other. He had a heart of gold for ALL. Wish the world was filled with people like Dave. Not only did he remember everyone, but he helped people always. Dave will always be in my memory and heart forever. My condolences to his wife, Paula, his daughter, Noelle, his granddaughters, and his son-in-law, Mark.

This evening I was thinking about people from my past and Dave was one of those impressive persons I never forgot. We hired Dave to work as an interviewer for the National Opinion Research Center at the university of Chicago. He was so very nice and kind. I can still hear his voice. Please let me know when his memorial service will take place. I am not sure I can be there but will make an attempt.

Mr. Crombie was a gem. Kind hearted man who was always there for his students. He was my ESL teacher in middle school and then High school from 1999 to 2004 in West haven, CT. I will always credit him for what I have been able to achieve. Grateful for his service to his students and everyone around him. You will be missed

Nick and David´s family. We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Our deepest condolences to all of you.

My husband Nat and I extend our deep condolences to you, Noelle and Paula and the girls. Although we didn't know Dave well, we see the incredible influence he has had on his daughter. May all of us left behind live as large. He will rest in peace after a life well lived. Love from Chris

My deepest condolences to the Crombie family, Dave was a good friend and a good hearted individual with a great sense of humor and profound intellect. God bless him and his family

Saddened to hear of Mr. Crombie´s passing. I had the great pleasure to work with him at Mackrille and Molloy elementary schools for many years. He was on of the kindest and funniest people I knew. I look forward to our chats during our daily morning bus duty. His stories were always a great way to start the day. His fierce dedication to his family and our students was truly inspiring. I will keep his family and friends in my prayers for peace and comfort.

I was just thinking of Dave last week and intended to call him. He was an awesome person, intellectually, emotionally and full of compassion. I look forward to his memorial in New Haven.

Taught with Dave at Carrigan for many years... He was an extremely compassionate, brilliant, funny man! He was a true advocate for his students and their families! His kind heart will live on with all of the students, families, and colleagues, whose lives he touched.
