What a pleasure it was having Dave and Pat for neighbors. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Freda and Clarence

Thinking of all of the Crook family and wishing you wonderful memories of wonderful father and grandfather.

Condolences to Scott, Pam,Sharon ,Coleen and your families. We have many fond memories of Dave and Pat during our vacations on Ocracoke where they kindly included us in your family.

My condolences to my sweet second family that I grew up with - Kelsey, Ben, and Pam - your father/grandfather was a lovely man. I didn't get to spend much time with him but I do remember and appreciate that he and Pat opened their home to me on a couple of very special occasions. May you find joy in your memories of him, and peace in the coming weeks and months.

My condolences to the entire Crook family. I have met few men as admirable as Dave. He was made of equal parts talent, good humor and audacity.

I remember the day your father walked through the door of our home in Saskatoon. I'd never seen the kind of pure happiness in my fathers (Charles) eyes before. Finally finding his lost little brother changed him as well. They way they hit it off right away was magic. We'll all miss him.

I got to fish with Dave (and Pat) for only a short time, but in that time he was a good and memorable role-model. He was optimistic, curious, and generous.

Sharon, Pam, Scott, Colleen and families - sending our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Dave was a very special man. His love and warmth as an Uncle was instant the year you all found us. He will be truly missed.
