Not sure what to say?

Beth hope you're doing well. David was sweet. He made a lot of outfits for guys that participated with him in Civil war reenactments. Tom and David did a lot of events together. Hope you and your boys are doing well. Best wishes. Alene Whitesides

A former colleague and great guy. HE will be missed by those who knew him. RAndy Neumeyer

My beloved brother. I will be joining you soon..in heavenI hope, with and Dad.I will be buried next to you like we were in the car on our trips

Mr. Crowley taught me Texas History at Teague and Geography at Nimitz. He helped me place at state in the History Fair one year and the next year helped me place in Nationals at the National History Fair. It's been 7 years since Mr. Crowley's death but I'm just learning of his passing. My continued interest in history is because of Mr. Crowley.

I am so sorry to here of Mr. Crowley's passing. He was my Texas History teacher 19 years ago at Teague Middle School. Whenever anyone asks me the teacher that inspired me the most he is always the first person to come to mind. His prescence will be greatly missed.

I just learned of David's passing and I am sorry for his family. He made a mighty contribution to promoting Texas history in both the classroom and historic sites. He was a good colleague and living historian.
