Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn of David's passing. His death marks the end of an era in which the practice of law meant so much more than it does today. I know he will be sorely missed.

It was with deep sorrow that I heard of David's passing. I have worked for years with David through his good friend Spruce McCain's office with many real estate transactions. Always a gentleman, and always a great conversationalist. I will miss him!

Please accept our deepest sympathies from the Family of Dr. Hugh W. Mole. Davids friendly help given to my father over the years is a powerful memory of Davids character and charm.

David was a lovely man. My brief acquaintance with him was a pleasure. Please accept my sympathy. I know you will miss him.

Dear Crum Family,
Do know all of you are in my thoughts & prayers.
Fondly,
Mackey K. Tarrant

David assisted the Drucker family when our Father's health declined. He will always be remembered as Denmark's perfect ambassador to the rest of South Carolina.

David was a friend of the Christie family through three generations and when I returned to Denmark after many years, it was as if we had spent all those years in between in constant communion. He was a gentleman as well as a gentle man, a Democrat to the core, and a giant in a land of pygmies.
I will miss you my friend, drop in for a meal any time.

David was a wonderful boss and friend to me for a long time. I will miss him.

I'm so saddened to hear of David's passing. His wit, wisdom and unbridled zest for life were uplifting to all, and made every encounter a gratifying experience. His was an exemplary life well-lived and my thoughts and prayers to his family.
