Dear Forrest, Carla, & Cameron:

Hearing of David's passing came as news of shock, then expressions of sadness. Words couldn't suffice the grief felt in my heart for you and your family.

David was such a fine young man and am glad I had the opportunity to meet such a promising Native who believed in doing exploits. His smile could be seen for miles and had such a presence about him when he entered a room. Please accept my condolences.

Well, I never got the chance to know who David was but through my cousin I know to her, he was a good friend a good person to be around. Although I probably won't know what it is like to lose a child, but i do however know what it's like to lose a sibling; Cameron, things like these will take a very long time to heal, I'm still trying to heal after losing my sister Mabel, but it is best to think of the good times you had together. I was out of town and just learned of David's untimely death. I am shocked and saddened. David was a wonderful young man with so much potential. He was a wonderful advocate for the Utah IDA program and donated his time and support to help others. I am honored to have known him. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
